• Question: How does film censorship in the U.S. compare with censorship in other countries?
• Answer: In Mainland China, if movies relate or concern the truth which is considered as a sensitive fact by government, then movies will be blocked. Such as, the background of Summer Palace was setting at the time of Tiananmen Square incident happened which was censored by Chinese government. People won’t be watch Summer Palace at cinema even though Summer Palace was the only Asian film in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
